Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor, is a TV personality. Burrell hosts Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as the host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her trademark spiky blond tresses and an energised persona on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, shares straightforward and simple methods for cooks at home. Chef Burrell studied and worked at the top New York restaurants. He also battled Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up within New York State's Upstate, developed an early passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America sparked her interest in restaurant management after she earned an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was where I had the most fun time of my life. I couldn't learn enough couldn't accomplish enough, and I couldn't put in the effort enough. After graduating, chef Burrell resided in Italy for one year taking classes at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Additionally, she worked at La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin highly rated restaurant) located in Tuscany. Her time spent in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate the Italian way of life and its culture and has made an impression on her food and culinary experience. Burrell serves on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that helps brighten the lives of children who are struggling. Burrell is also a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Celebrity Advocate where she raises awareness about young diabetics. As a guest speaker and teacher Burrell travels throughout the US to talk about her passion for cooking as well as her profession. Anne, throughout her entire experience in the kitchen, has declared that it is a privilege to have the opportunity to be able to share this love of the food industry with people.
